The Canon Sure Shot Zoom XL (Date) is an automatic, compact camera with a power zoom lens that covers a focal length from 39mm to 85mm.
Two additional features make it one of the leading camera in its class.
The first feature, Intelligent Framing Zoom memorizes the subject’s magnification selected by the user. This allows the background to be changed without affecting the subject’s size for creative photos.
The second feature is a Remote Control Function with a compact controller that quickly detaches for more freedom in taking pictures.
Like SLR (single lens reflex) cameras, a passive AF system and three-zone light metering system produce good quality photos every time. Automated features such as the zoom flash and film handling tasks make this camera simple to handle.

Red LED lights steadily on flash charge completion and blinks at 4Hz to warn of camera shake.
